The primarily role of Occupational Health (OH) is to protect the health, safety and general welfare of all employees in their place of work, and throughout their working lives. OH services provide help and support at all stages including pre-employment health assessment, ongoing health surveillance during employment, and sickness absence assessment after a period of sick leave.
